A “Truck Driver” to some can be defined as simply as a person whom drives a truck. Although at RJS Insurance Services, Inc. we think that definition does not do justice to the individuals we help on a daily basis. We know that it takes an internal drive, a professional pilot, and a passion to move America on 18 wheels. This week we solute the men and women of this country that get up each day motivated to hit the roads for the long haul. September 13-19 we celebrate National Truck Driver Appreciation Week for the constant sacrifice our Truck Drivers make for us as a Nation.
Hours can vary, they can be long, it can be light or it can be dark. These drivers move freight 24/7/365 in an effort to keep America in motion. Families can see days to even weeks of separation while their significant others are out on the road. These Truck Drivers continue to give all their effort in ensuring the loads of consumer goods, medical supplies, water, food, and pretty much anything you can imagine get to the proper destination. They have our highest admiration and that’s why below are a few words from the members of our Agency stating all they appreciate that Truck Drivers do for us:
Drea (Assistant) – I appreciate Truck Drivers because they continue to do their jobs even during a pandemic, ensuring that people get the food and supplies they need to stay safe!
Mariela (Assistant) – Deepest Appreciation to all Truck Drivers! Thank you for keeping our country moving throughout this pandemic, you are our Highway Heroes!!!
Andrea (Assistant) – In the midst of the Pandemic when the entire county was paralyzed, we relied on people like you for our day-to-day needs. There are not enough words to tell you how much we appreciate you and the vital role you play in transporting goods across America. Thank you so much and Happy Truck Driver Appreciation Week!
Thalia (Assistant) – I appreciate that the Truck Drivers sacrifice time away from their families sometimes like weeks or months to get resources to all of us.
Denise (Assistant) – I would like to thank driver for all their long hours and time; they have such an important job and without them our society would be chaos. Thank you drivers for all that you do and know we appreciate you.
Sandra (Custom Service Representative) – Thank the truckers for keeping this country moving during Covid-19.
Susan (Customer Service Representative) – I believe that truckers don’t always get the appreciation they truly deserve. When one stops to think about it, everything they have in their homes, the food they eat and the Starbuck’s they enjoy and the TV programs they watch are all made possible by truckers! When you stop and put it in that perspective, you truly get an appreciation for how important their jobs are.
Julia (Customer Service Representative) – Thankful for all this country’s Truck Drivers that show constant dedication to moving America with their time, energy and effort. We appreciate all they do!
Jonathan (Agent) – It really is a “profession” that takes an absolute “professional” behind the wheel. For all the Truck Drivers out there know that you are so appreciated and that we love getting to work with you every day. From great conversation to hearing how you have continually adapted through this changing market, it is something I truly admire and thank you from the bottom of my heart for doing so!
Mark (Agent) – I have been associated with some of the hardest working people in this country for more than 20 years, so I know and appreciate that hard work that the independent truckers do. The independent trucker is wearing many hats, so to speak, more than anyone else out there. In the course of a single day they may work hard dispatching, driving, twisting the wrenches, accounting and on top of everything else, selling their services to existing and prospective customers. It makes me proud to serve the hard working people that keep America moving.
Richard (Agent) – When we think about the job and commitment that drivers make, we really should pause and think about “Everything that is touched by their efforts: all the items in the Grocery Stores, Walmart’s, Local Costco’s everything is touched eventually by these drivers.” Truck Drivers literally Move America. They do so selflessly, as they travel away from their own families sometimes for days, weeks on end. Traveling across this great state, great nation to do deliver the goods that we all need on time for all our families. It’s their dedication to safety and commitment that makes all of our lives easier. So when you see a truck give them plenty of distance while driving, and if you have the opportunity to thank a Truck Driver in person do so, they deserve it.
So heard straight from the voices of our agency we say thank you to all the Truck Drivers that continue to move America. We are always just a phone call away to assist you with your commercial risk management and insurance needs. Don’t forget that at RJS insurance Services, Inc. that we are a family that loves Trucks and the People that drive them! Happy Truck Driver Appreciation Week!
