Dear RJS Family,
With heavy hearts, we share that Beverly Smith – sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend and colleague, gained her wings and joined the Heavens on May 25th, 2020.
For 29 years she shared her dedication to clients at RJS Insurance Services, Inc. but that really was just the tip of the iceberg.
We only saw 10% of what she did all the time. What she did all the time, was “Give.” Her son Richard reflected, “A lifetime of service to others was what I would describe Mom as. Every opportunity, every interaction, every moment was a chance to give to others. She would go without things herself, so others could have. Her time and love was never ending for all people. Her goal was never how much we earned, but instead how much we gave. She never stopped showing up ready to attack the day with the energy of a young athlete. She never complained or spoke poorly of anyone.”
She was the glue that kept her 14 coworkers, 4 children, 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and countless friends that became family together. We know everyone here had their own relationship with Beverly and we’re so thankful for that.
Beverly had undeniable faith for the Lord. Her belief as a Christian was so strong; it would constantly be shared with others. We all may share different beliefs, but in honor of her I share a verse from the Bible. Psalm 73:26 speaks so true to this time as we grieve over the flesh. She is not gone; she has just entered the forever in Heaven. She is forever alive in the Kingdom above and we will meet again someday.
Beverly will be missed greatly and remembered fondly forever by everyone that had the wonderful opportunity to meet her.
